- Added (App 2.0.2): where to open Tesla dashcam clips and the driving-data report, which videos are accepted, that composite and transcoded videos are not supported, that parsing and PDF sharing stay on the device, and that free use is 2 parses and 2 exports each month. How to obtain the video: AirDrop of the original vehicle MP4 is preferred; a WeChat download must use the original video so the source file size is preserved; a file whose format changes when sent from a computer through WeChat is supported when the source file size is unchanged. Existing support text is unchanged.

Reply time (protects the operator): If the user’s mailbox is full or another receiving failure prevents delivery, whether the operator has fulfilled the duty to reply, and the time of that reply, are measured by the time the operator actually sent the message. A failure of the recipient’s mailbox is not treated as a failure to reply.
9. Support scope
We help with: install/crashes, Tesla official auth & refresh, local record import/export, optional cloud revoke, locked-phone today’s-mileage sync, vehicle-alert lookup / AI explain, Tesla info-policy refresh, financing-calculator link, Cloud status explanation, privacy requests, feedback email issues.
Not us: roadside / Tesla service, Tesla password recovery, Apple hardware/Apple ID, professional appraisal based on App data.
10. FAQ
Mail won’t open?
Add an account in the system Mail app first.
Mailbox full, so you never got the reply?
Free space in the mailbox, or add an optional phone number in feedback so we can write to phone@139.com. You may also send email to service@telog.cn from QQ Mail. Even if a full mailbox or other receiving failure bounces our mail, the reply time is still the time we actually sent it, and that is not treated as a failure to reply.
Where is my data?
On-device by default. Cloud copies only after separate consent, stored in mainland China.
How do I delete?
Privacy & data, or email service@telog.cn.
Today’s mileage stale while the phone is locked?
Local capture pauses when the App is not running. With cloud collection consented, the server can gap-fill (including location snapshots used on-device to complete an open drive trail) and send an APNs silent wake so the App pulls and merges (typically no banner). Allow notifications so the device token can register. Without collection, mileage updates when you open the App.
Gaps in trips?
Sleep/network/App not running can miss local capture—Cloud collection or historical import may help.
Is vehicle-alert lookup free? Are photos uploaded?
On-device library search is free and defaults to the current authorized vehicle (Other vehicles opens My Vehicles). Your query is not uploaded; the result card does not show raw library handling advice. If you photograph the car’s alert, OCR runs on-device and the photo is not uploaded. AI explain / follow-up is Cloud-only: the library is the fact source; AI only rewrites language and must not invent parts or repair conclusions. It requires usable library meaning/advice first (otherwise no model call), then sends text only via TeLog China servers to a Tongyi text model. It will not promise free replacement, official warranty, or fast claims. Results are informational, not official diagnosis. Isolated from DamageLens vision analysis.
Can DamageLens scan a VIN? Why is there a flood checklist?
You may photograph a VIN plate; OCR runs on-device and that photo is not uploaded. Flood/water lines in a report are a reference checklist, not an official flood inspection or insurer appraisal. You may save a damage or accident record to the on-device vehicle archive.
Share posters clipped or overlapping?
Monthly/yearly mileage clipping and the extra “show when selling” archive-poster footer were fixed in the latest App build. Update and regenerate the image.
Does DamageLens auto-detect configuration? Does it slow collection?
For an authorized vehicle the App may read Tesla’s official vehicle_config.trim_badging
(and car_type) once to prefill the configuration picker. If the signal is missing or the extra
read fails, the field stays empty for manual selection and is not retried on every poll.
This call goes App → Tesla Fleet API (not TeLog servers). You can always override the prefills.
Refunds?
Apple only. We can confirm entitlement status.
Is Tesla info policy free? Does it upload vehicle data?
Yes, it is free. The Home card needs no subscription. Public OTA / sales / after-sales excerpts are fetched from TeLog servers and cached on-device. A later visit shows the cached copy first, then refreshes. This path does not upload VIN, drives, or telemetry. Copy may lag tesla.cn and is not an official Tesla promise.
Which page does the financing calculator open?
That Car Assistant card opens only https://www.tesla.cn/financing-calculator.
Tesla’s site handles the form; TeLog does not receive or approve financing applications.
Why can I open the analytics hub but get a subscribe prompt inside?
You may browse the hub directory first. Tapping a specific panel still requires Cloud if you are not subscribed. This is intended, not a bug.
Why is there no install date on software-update history?
TeLog only records the first observed car_version change — not Tesla’s official OTA install day. The calendar date was removed to avoid that misunderstanding.
11. Third parties
Tesla Fleet API · Apple App Store/StoreKit · Apple APNs (silent wake when cloud collection is on) ·
Amap / optional OSM · Tongyi vision (DamageLens) · Tongyi text (vehicle-alert AI explain; Cloud; isolated from vision) ·
tesla.cn public pages when you open a info-policy link or the financing calculator (https://www.tesla.cn/financing-calculator only).
12. Compliance & limits
- We follow PRC PIPL principles: lawful/necessary, on-device default, separate consent for sensitive/cloud features.
- App provided “as is”; to the extent permitted by law, no liability for third-party outages, unrecovered local loss without backup, or decisions based on informational reports (including alert lookup/AI and DamageLens) (except willful misconduct / gross negligence).
- If you have only ever used the free tier and never subscribed to Cloud, the Operator bears no liability to the extent permitted by law (see Terms).
- For subscribers, where a monetary cap is required: actual Apple Cloud payments, not more than CNY 100 (if paid less, use actual). Email/feedback first; 15 business days to restore unusable core features. Force majeure and China approval/distribution delays excluded. See Terms §11.
13. Documents
Nearby charging / Vehicle feature toolbox (FAQ)
Nearby charging empty? Link Tesla and select an authorized vehicle; wake the car if asleep. No Cloud subscription required.
Toolbox asks to enable Tongyi AI? Settings → Tongyi AI server. Off disables DamageLens vision, vehicle-alert AI, and toolbox AI.
Toolbox quota used up? Free users get 10 AI guide uses per calendar month; Cloud raises the cap. Browse/source retrieval does not consume quota. Check remaining uses on the toolbox hub or Settings, or upgrade Cloud.
Language switch? Changing language in Settings updates toolbox and nearby-charging UI. For Cybertruck (English manuals only), Chinese answers may be translated from English excerpts with a source notice.
Tesla dashcam clips, added 3 November 2026 (App 2.0.2)
These notes do not replace the existing support text.
- Where: Stats tab, below Driving behavior report, open Tesla dashcam clips.
- How to use it: Tap Choose video and select one video from Photos or a connected USB drive. Parsing is completed on the user’s device. The video, the parsed result, and the PDF are not uploaded.
- Obtaining the video: AirDrop is preferred. Send the original MP4 dashcam clip from the Tesla vehicle’s USB drive to the phone, so the original format and the source file size are kept. When downloading through WeChat, choose the original video. Only that choice keeps the true size of the source file. A file sent from a computer through WeChat and then downloaded to the phone may change format. If the format changes and the source file size stays the same, the app supports it and can parse it. If the source file size is not preserved, parsing is not guaranteed.
- Videos that are accepted: Only a dashcam clip from the Tesla vehicle’s original USB drive is supported. A single original MP4 from the vehicle is preferred. The file must not exceed 81,000,000 bytes (81MB). The duration must not exceed 61 seconds. A clip on that drive is ordinarily about 60 seconds. If the drive contains several videos, choose one. Acceptance after a WeChat transfer is stated under “Obtaining the video.”
- Videos that are not supported: Composite videos, edited videos, spliced videos, and videos whose file size has changed because of compression or transcoding are not supported. A file over the size or duration limit is not read. Those files are not guaranteed to parse. A WeChat download that changes only the file format, while the source file size stays the same, is governed by “Obtaining the video.”
- Design basis: Vehicle-data fields follow Tesla’s publicly available SeiMetadata data structure and the corresponding field definitions. The parsing program is implemented by TeLog and runs only on the user’s device.
- Driving-data report: After parsing, tap Export PDF on the right. A preview opens first, and you may then share it yourself. The report is for personal reference. It does not replace the vehicle display or service-center advice, and it cannot by itself be used for accident appraisal or an insurance claim.
- Counts: A free account may parse 2 times and export 2 reports in each calendar month. The two counts are separate and return the next calendar month. An active trial, monthly plan, or yearly plan is unlimited and does not use these 2. A file in the wrong format, or a file that cannot be read, does not count as a parse. A file that has been read but does not finish parsing counts as one parse. A PDF that is not generated, or a preview that does not open, does not count as an export. Once the preview opens, one export is counted.
Warranty reminders, added 31 October 2026 (App 2.0.1)
These notes do not replace the existing support text.
- Vehicle warranty reminder: Life tab → Car → Vehicle warranty reminder. Enter the warranty start date yourself. It is not inferred from the VIN. When the car is linked, the current odometer is shown and the term is 4 years or 80,000 km, whichever comes first. That measure is Tesla’s official warranty rule. If Tesla later changes it, Tesla’s official terms prevail. If the car is not linked, the odometer row says Sign in to connect a vehicle and opens My vehicles. Time reminders are 30 days before, 7 days before, and on the end date. Mileage reminders are at 75,000, 78,000, 79,500, and 80,000 km. An optional factory extended warranty can be selected. Free. The date and reminders stay on this device.
- Battery and drive unit warranty reminder: Life tab → Tools → Battery and drive unit warranty reminder. Enter the vehicle delivery date. The high-voltage battery and the drive unit share it. When the car is linked, the official configuration code is read first. Without one, the full-charge range must agree with the built-in rated-range and pack-size references before 160,000 km is separated from 192,000 km. If it still cannot be confirmed, choose it on this page. That choice does not change the vehicle record. The term is 8 years. The mileage limit is 160,000, 192,000, or 240,000 km for the confirmed configuration. If the car is not linked, the odometer row says Sign in to connect a vehicle. Current battery health requires Cloud. Without a subscription, only that number is hidden. The rest of the page is free. Reminders stay on this device and do not change the vehicle warranty reminders. The applicable Tesla terms and the documents for that vehicle prevail.
Life, added 28 October 2026 (App 2.0.0)
Open the Life tab at the bottom. The notes below do not replace the existing support text.
- No subscription required: tax calculator, repayment calendar, step one of the MBTI personality-preference test (93 questions), English practice, driving-test handbook, licence manager, 21-day workout check-in, calendar and holidays, and file conversion. Those records stay on the device by default.
- Step two of the MBTI personality-preference test: 145 items written for this app. An active Cloud membership is required. It is not a psychological or medical diagnosis.
- Homework: turn on the Tongyi AI server, then photograph a problem or choose one from the photo library. Free use is 50 successful solves per calendar month; monthly and yearly members have 150. A failure, timeout, or cancellation does not count.
- Olympiad practice: turn on the Tongyi AI server first. Each successful generation request counts once. Free use is 20 per calendar month; members have 100. Wait for the current request to finish before starting another.
- Checkup readings: turn on the Tongyi AI server and agree to send the report. Camera, photo library, and files are all accepted. One reading takes about 1–2 minutes; wait until the result appears. Free use is 2 successful readings per calendar month. A valid trial or membership has unlimited readings. Saving, viewing, and comparing history requires an active membership. After expiry you cannot continue to view history, and saved reports are not deleted automatically. The note under a comparison states that the result is for reference only and is not a medical diagnosis, a treatment plan, or a basis for medication; if there is any question, or if physical discomfort occurs, go to a hospital promptly for further examination. The operator does not provide medical advice and does not practice medicine. The report is chosen and uploaded by the user. The reading is generated by the Tongyi artificial-intelligence model for the user's personal reference only.
- 21-day workout check-in: check-ins stay on the device. Sharing produces an image. Location is used only while you actively record a route.
New features from 18 October 2026 (App 1.1.3) — where & FAQ
- Vehicle configuration lookup: Path: Home → Car assistant → Common lookups → Vehicle configuration lookup. The user selects Current vehicle to enter the vehicle identification number (VIN) of the authorized vehicle, then selects Open parts page. The current vehicle’s Tesla parts catalog is opened, and the heat-pump compressor brand may be looked up. The applicable models are Model 3, refreshed Model 3, Model Y, refreshed Model Y, and Model YL. The lookup is available only for the current vehicle.
- Basis of the brand identification: The App reads the compressor part number displayed on the parts page. Prefix
1501256is displayed as DENSO. Prefix1582668is displayed as Sanden. Any other prefix is displayed as not identified. The rule is based on the part-number records in publicly available service documentation and is checked against the compressor-assembly description in Tesla’s service manuals. The identification is for reference only. It does not constitute a Tesla official lookup or certification, and it does not constitute repair or purchasing advice. Where the vehicle’s compressor has been replaced, the identification may differ from the configuration as manufactured. - When the result differs from the vehicle: This feature opens the current vehicle’s public Tesla parts catalog and provides a reference heat-pump compressor brand from the part number. Tesla may vary DENSO and Sanden fitment on some vehicles. Where the part number indicates DENSO and the vehicle is fitted with Sanden, or where the result otherwise differs, the actual fitment prevails. The user may open temperature in the official Tesla app and then Cabin Overheat Protection. As of 18 October 2026, a display of 30°C, 35°C, or 40°C corresponds to DENSO. That correspondence is limited to the official Tesla app display on that date. If Tesla later changes the official display, Tesla prevails.
- Connect your Tesla account first: Where a Tesla account has not been connected and the home screen does not yet display a vehicle, the user selects that status and is taken to Connect vehicle. After the account has been connected or a vehicle has been stored on the device, that status no longer provides navigation.
From 13 October 2026: limited-time free trial (effective that day)
- New users: Path: Settings → Account → Cloud. From 13 October 2026, new users may receive a limited-time free trial. The trial length is as shown on the App Store page. This page no longer states a fixed number of days. When the App Store does not offer an introductory trial, the subscription page does not display a trial.
- Trials already started: A trial that had already started before 13 October 2026 continues under the trial terms that applied when it started.
New features from 12 October 2026 (App 1.1.2) — where & FAQ
- Analytics dashboards: Path: Analysis tab → Analytics dashboards. The user may open the directory first. Selecting a specific item then prompts for a Cloud subscription. The path Settings → Advanced → Local storage statistics does not require a subscription and may be opened without one.
- Cloud collection (24/7): Path: Settings → Advanced. During a valid trial or subscription, collection that is already enabled continues, and is disabled only after expiry. While membership remains valid, launching the App alone does not disable it. After expiry, the switch is turned off. After the user obtains a valid subscription again, the user must enable it again.
- Membership comparison: Path: Settings → Account → Cloud. The comparison lists Cloud collection (24/7) as a separate item. Analytics dashboards are listed as 20 items. Local storage statistics are not included in those 20 items.
New features from 11 October 2026 (App 1.1.1) — where & FAQ
- Tesla environmental info sheet: Home → Car assistant → Common lookups → Tesla environmental info sheet. After authorization, tap Current vehicle to fill the VIN, type the characters in the image, then search. You can open or download the EV environmental information sheet. Values differ by Tesla model and configuration. The sheet usually has four parts: vehicle information (model, trademark, class, nameplate location, manufacturer, factory address); inspection information (standard, testing body and result, factory inspection, production conformity); pollution-control information (drive unit, vehicle controller, energy storage, and battery capacity / range); manufacturer information (legal representative, address, telephone, and lookup links). It is only for your own lookup, not for any other purpose. This feature does not require a subscription.
- Cloud trial length: Settings → Account → Cloud. The trial length on the page follows the App Store. When the App Store does not offer an introductory trial, the App subscription page does not display a trial.
- QQ Mail: Settings → About & support → Send feedback. Below the mobile number you may leave a QQ Mail address. It is optional. You can still send with it blank.
New features from 8 October 2026 (App 1.1.0) — where & FAQ
- Tesla Skin: When the authorized vehicle is identified as a Model YL, the skin page is titled Model YL and lists only wraps whose filenames say “适用 Model Y L”. Those wraps no longer appear in the ordinary Model Y list. Saving to Photos, and syncing to the car through the official Tesla App Photo Booth (upload), stays the same.
New features from 6 October 2026 (App 1.0.9) — where & FAQ
- Tesla operating results: Home → Tesla info policy → Tesla operating results. Read published production and deliveries, operating progress, and the company’s outlook. Category names stay fixed; text under Earnings preview, Official addresses, and Business progress is updated from the server. Disclaimer: content is from published reports, official records, and Tesla’s outlook. For reference only, not investment advice.
- Official addresses (tap to open; the address is not shown in the App):
- Annual reports (https://ir.tesla.com/sec-filings) — Tesla IR SEC filing library. When this note was written: 2 Oct 2026 8-K, 29 Sep 2026 8-K, 9 Sep 2026 Form 4, 8 Sep 2026 Form 144, 22 July 2026 10-Q, 22 July 2026 8-K, Schedule 13G/A, and SD Specialized Disclosure Report. SEC HTML or PDF is usually available. The live page controls the list.
- SEC source filings (https://www.sec.gov/edgar/browse/?CIK=1318605) — 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, Proxy / DEF 14A, insider transactions, and Schedule 13D / 13G.
- Quarterly disclosure (https://ir.tesla.com/#quarterly-disclosure) — Earnings Date, Press Release, Shareholder Deck, Webcast with Q&A, SEC Filing, Production & Delivery, and Consensus on Tesla’s page. Consensus is not this App’s forecast and is not investment advice.
- Tesla Skin: Matches the current authorized vehicle’s model and hardware version, then a skin can be saved to Photos. Hardware comes from Fleet API
vehicle_data→vehicle_config.driver_assist. Before that field is read, the label is HW--. A sleeping car is woken and then read; an awake car is read directly. TeslaAP4 is shown as HW4 and TeslaAP3 as HW3, and the value is saved on this device. After the first successful read, opening the page again shows that saved version without another read. If the first read finds nothing, the label stays HW-- and the next visit tries once more. The same field prepares a later FSD (Supervised) statistics feature; this version does not provide those statistics. After a skin image is downloaded, the user syncs it to the car through the official Tesla App’s Photo Booth (upload).
New features from 3 October 2026 (App 1.0.8) — where & FAQ
- App feedback: Settings → About & support → Send feedback. After Tesla is linked and you are signed in, the current vehicle VIN and TeLog No. are filled in automatically, and Cloud membership plus 24/7 cloud collection are shown as on or off. Phone number is optional; if the mailbox is full we may write to phone@139.com.
- Reply time (protects the operator): If the user’s mailbox is full or another receiving failure prevents delivery, whether the operator has fulfilled the duty to reply, and the time of that reply, are measured by the time the operator actually sent the message. A failure of the recipient’s mailbox is not treated as a failure to reply.
New features from 3 October 2026 (App 1.0.7) — where & FAQ
- Tesla Automation: An in-car automation reference. It groups steps as arrival and voice, safety, battery and charging, windows, climate, and display, and lists each item’s actions, triggers, and conditions so you can create them yourself on the Tesla car screen.
New features from 30 September 2026 (App 1.0.6) — where & FAQ
Entry points and FAQ for this date. This does not replace the FAQ above.
- Tesla Skin: Home, under Feature toolbox. Browse wraps for the current authorized model and search. Open a skin to download and save it to Photos. It does not change vehicle settings and does not sync a wrap to the car. Tesla Skin is currently open only for Model 3 and Model Y. Model S and Model X skins are not available yet and will wait for a later update.
- Battery charge cycle: Home, under Feature toolbox, opens Battery calibration. Steps follow LFP or ternary packs. Chemistry can be recognized automatically or chosen manually. LFP has a flatter voltage curve: keep the daily limit at 100% and complete a true full charge plus a rest at least weekly. Ternary packs do not need full charges as often as LFP: keep the daily limit at 80%–90%, and about every 1–2 weeks rest at least 3 hours near 20% and again at 80%–90%. After unplugging, wait 30–60 minutes before driving. About once a month, a 100% charge plus a 2–3 hour rest is optional. Rest lets the BMS check SOC from open-circuit voltage and brick voltage at low load, and helps limit CAC overestimation. This screen does not charge the car, change the limit, or show battery health, and it does not mean the BMS finished calibration. The record stays on this device. If the vehicle shows any condition or alert, contact a Tesla service center promptly or call the Tesla hotline at 4009100707. For these steps, Tesla official charging stalls are suggested. The full description is in the Terms addition of the same date.
- Maintenance price lookup: Home → Car assistant. Look up repair and maintenance prices by model. Prices are on this device and are not tied to the current car. The prices are Tesla’s official quotes. If they differ slightly, the Tesla service center prevails.
New features from 25 September 2026 (App 1.0.5) — where & FAQ
Entry points and FAQ for this date. This does not replace the FAQ above.
- Tire pressure: Drives tab. After the current vehicle has at least one finished trip, four tire pressures appear on a top-view car image. Tap History to see stored values by date. Free — no Cloud subscription.
- Teslalog Engineer: Answers from the authorized vehicle’s on-device data. Entry point, free uses, and Cloud quota are unchanged.
- Charge schedule: Charges tab. Charging starts at the time you set. Open an existing schedule to change the time; after you save, the car uses the new time.
- Overview still says Driving? Without a subscription and without Cloud collect, the App does not keep requesting vehicle status in the background, so Overview keeps the last driving state. If the car is already parked and the screen still says Driving, tap Wake on Overview to sync the current state. That is expected when Cloud collect is off. With Cloud collect on, parking is recorded in the background and Overview updates the next time you open the App.
New features from 22 September 2026 (App 1.0.4) — where & FAQ
Entry points and FAQ for capabilities shipped this date. This does not replace the FAQ above.
- Lock / unlock: Overview status-card shortcuts. Needs an authorized vehicle and vehicle_cmds; if missing, disconnect Tesla in Settings and sign in again. On timeout, check the car. Free.
- Charge schedule: Charges tab. Needs vehicle_charging_cmds; creating a schedule may wake the car and needs location. Free — not a Cloud entitlement.
- Charging health: Charges tab, last 30 days of charging. Free. Separate from Cloud battery-health trend.
- Vehicle activity: Drives tab card. Day-by-day lock, drive, charge events. Free.
- Long-trip report: Drives tab. Generated after a single drive of about 100 km. Free.
- Running cost: Stats tab. Card shows no amounts; detail is the Tesla running-cost ledger. Insurance, charging, maintenance, and fees you add; excludes expense reimbursements and DamageLens estimates. Free.
- Insurance details: Emergency tools, above the self-help guide. Compulsory/commercial policies you enter stay on-device. Free.
- Recall lookup: Car assistant. Enter a VIN or use the current vehicle. Tesla official API; Tesla App / service center prevail. Free.
